Are you really living? Or merely existing?
The site was founded in 2010 by a guy, just a normal guy, a guy who thought there might be more to life than his daily grind.
Put yourself in his shoes for a minute. Imagine yourself as a young IT professional, working in a cubicle-farm no less.
You find yourself questioning your existence as you’re fast approaching your 30th birthday. Every day you take the same route to work, attend the same meetings, work the same projects, and stare at the same 4 grey cubicle walls day-in-and-day-out.
You start wondering about your life list, all those things you would love to do if you had the time and money.
Maybe you want to attend Oktoberfest, party in Ibiza, sleep your way around the hostel circuit, climb a mountain, or dive with sharks?
Maybe you start reading blogs (is that how you found yourself here?), but you’re unsure about solo travel, about quitting work and living the dream.
You figure you have only one shot at living a great life, one worth telling stories about, so you quit your job and buy a one-way ticket to anywhere.
